Oklahoma is proud of the many ways in which our Daughters have given back to our communities and our nation. Some of these include contributions to educational and charitable activities in line with the Internal Revenue Service Code requirements; marking of many historical sites throughout the State; and decades of working in and with our public schools to promote respect for our Flag and the Constitution, love of American History, and pride in good citizenship.
Through active participation in naturalization ceremonies, Oklahoma Daughters provide thousands of U.S. flags and free copies of the "DAR Manual for Citizenship" to immigrants becoming naturalized citizens. Always promoting respect for the Flag of the United States of America, the Daughters provide flags to schools, scout troops, and many public parks and facilities. Braille flags are also available for the visually impaired.

Oklahoma Daughters donate thousands of volunteer hours each month serving the men and women who have served in the defense of our nation and are now in Veterans Administration Medical Centers in Sulphur, Muskogee, Claremore, and Oklahoma City.
We fund State Scholarships for young men and women attending Oklahoma colleges and universities.
Membership in the Daughters of the American Revolution provides an opportunity to help others, to meet new people with similar interests, to develop friendships, and to promote the ideals of patriotism and love of country, especially in our youth. DAR members understand the importance of responsible citizenship and strive always to support and defend the United States Constitution, preserve our history, and maintain our republican form of government.
Oklahoma is proud to present our 41 chapters throughout our state. Please feel free to contact the chapter nearest you for more information on becoming a member of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution.
